Samsung confirms Galaxy S23 launch date early, by accident

Samsung has confirmed the Galaxy S23 series launch date, the devices are coming on February 1. This confirmation comes from a rather unexpected source, though, an official Samsung Columbia website.
The Galaxy S23 series will launch on February 1, as Samsung announces the event early
This was a slip-up before Samsung’s official announcement, actually. Samsung Columbia posted the Unpacked page earlier than expected, and thus confirmed the launch date of the device. The listing is now gone, though.
You can see what the page looks like in the images provided below. One is from the desktop version of the site, and the other is from the mobile version. Not much is shown here, but you can see the new camera design Samsung will go with. There are also images of leaves and lilacs included here. We believe they’re hinting at the names of the upcoming models.
One of the upcoming models is expected to be called ‘Misty Lilac’, and the other ‘Botanic Green’. Those are the variants we believe Samsung is teasing here, though they won’t be the only models the company will announce, of course.
Samsung will, once again, introduce three Galaxy S23 series smartphones. The Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra are expected to drop. All three phones will be fueled by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, globally.
All three phones will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, globally
Samsung will finally use Qualcomm’s flagship on a global scale, rather than utilizing its Exynos chip in some markets. Last year, all European markets had to deal with the Exynos 2200, which was inferior to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in a number of ways.
The company is actually expected to utilize an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in its phones. The devices are also expected to utilize faster RAM and storage than their predecessors, though we’re still not sure of that.
Android 13 will come pre-installed on all three models, while all three phones will be water and dust resistant. Fast wired charging is expected, and the same goes for wireless charging. If you’d like to know more about the Galaxy S23 series, click here.
