According to a new, spicy rumor, Samsung may launch 6 foldable phones next year. This information comes from RGcloudS Twitter user, and you should take it with a pinch of salt. The source shared a ton of info here, but… we can’t really know if it’s accurate. Not only does this rumor shares a lot of “out there” info, but it doesn’t come from our usual sources. That doesn’t mean it’s not true, though.

In any case, the tipster claims Samsung may actually expand its foldables to count six devices starting next year. Based on this, Samsung may announce four new high-end foldable devices, aside from the regular releases. The devices in question are the Galaxy Z Flip Ultra, the Galaxy Z Fold Ultra, the Galaxy Z Flex (tri-fold device), and the Galaxy Z Tab (foldable tablet). All that in addition to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6.

That’s not all, though. The tipster did share some additional info too, regarding their panels. He says that the Galaxy Z Fold Ultra will feature a 4K display by Samsung Display. The regular Z Fold will include a QHD+ panel from BOE.

On the flip side, the Galaxy Z Flip Ultra will include a QHD+ panel from Samsung Display, while the regular Galaxy Z Flip model will utilize a fullHD+ display from BOE.

As if that’s not enough, he also shared some additional info regarding Samsung’s Galaxy S series phones, and the company’s mid-range devices.

The tipster says that Samsung plans to reduce the number of Galaxy A devices out there. It is, however, planning to replace those with a new ‘Galaxy K’ series, which will also be mid-range phones. As a side note, devices with K-based model numbers did appear on Bluetooth SIG earlier this year.

The ‘Plus’ model from the Galaxy S series may become a thing of the past

The last piece of information he shared has to do with the Galaxy S series. He claims that Samsung will remove the ‘Plus’ model from the Galaxy S series next year. A new, premium Galaxy S device may take its place.
