Sony teaser confirms WF-1000XM6 earbuds are "coming soon"

Sony’s WF-1000XM6 earbuds are all but certain at this point, and with how many leaks there have been surrounding the upcoming premium earbuds, Sony’s official teaser video about their arrival solidifies things. Sony’s WF-1000X series earbuds have been the company’s flagship premium earbuds for several years at this point, and while there isn’t a confirmation on everything about them, the design of these earbuds has leaked in full. On top of that, it won’t be long before Sony lifts the curtain on what’s coming.

One thing that consumers can expect is top-notch active noise cancellation. This is always a mainline feature of these earbuds and their headphone counterparts. This will no doubt return as one of the main features of the WF-1000XM6.

Sony will reveal, and possibly launch, the WF-1000XM6 on February 12

Following leaks and rumors over the past month or two, Sony’s WF-1000XM6 earbuds are now official, as Sony posted a short teaser video confirming their upcoming reveal. Sony says the earbuds are “coming soon” and lists a date of February 12. This might just be the date that Sony unveils the WF-1000XM6, but it could also be the launch date. Sony also confirms that the reveal will happen at 8 AM Pacific Standard Time.

The design of these earbuds is briefly shown as well, but only slightly, as Sony keeps them in the shadows for the most part. That being said, the design has leaked in full already, so there’s nothing left to the imagination there. When it comes to colors, Sony should be launching three, which are likely Black, Platinum Silver, and a recently rumored Sandpink.
