AYANEO's Pocket Vert comes in three colors and has a 6,000mAh battery

Earlier this month, AYANEO unveiled the Pocket Vert handheld, and now the company is sharing more details about this retro gaming handheld built for Android games, including how many colors will be available. Back when it was announced on November 5, AYANEO shared some aspects of the handheld’s design as well as a few specifications, but it didn’t lift the curtain completely. It held a few things back for future announcements, and much of that is being revealed today.

For example, it’s now clear how big the device’s battery is. The Pocket Vert will come with a 6,000mAh battery that should easily keep you enjoying games for several hours. AYANEO has also shared that the Pocket Vert comes with dual stereo speakers for better sound quality, and a hidden touch pad that sits beneath the panel just under the d-pad.

By looking at the device, you’d never really know this was there. AYANEO says this can be used for remapping to thumbstick or mouse functions. This is also the first time the company has shown off the Pocket Vert’s three available colors, alongside several more images of the device at just about every angle.

The Pocket Vert already proved to be a handheld that comes with a striking design, but that isn’t really put into perspective until you see the device in its Red and White color options. Both of these really accentuate the glass-like style of the buttons, but they also just look a little cleaner than the Black.

In addition to showing off the three new colors, AYANEO is also breaking down some of the other device’s functions. That dial on the side is actually the MagicSwitch key that was introduced with the Pocket DMG device. Its default function is to adjust volume and scroll. However, if you long-press it, you can open up the button’s function menu, where there are several utilities you can access.

AYANEO has yet to share pricing or availability for this device. Given that it’s ramping up the speed at which it shares information, however, pricing and availability announcements probably aren’t far off. With the Pocket Vert now fully revealed, AYANEO can now likely divert more attention to its upcoming gaming phone that was teased earlier this month.
