Massive Leak Reveals Galaxy S26 Ultra's Key Specs & Upgrades

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra AM AH 16

For Samsung fans, a fresh wave of leaks has just hit. A reliable tipster has “confirmed” several key specs for the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra. According to the report, the next Ultra phone is shaping up to be less about radical change and more about refinement, aiming for a slimmer profile and impressive thermal management.

Key specs of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra

Let’s start with the display. According to PandaFlashPro’s report on X/Twitter, the S26 Ultra will keep the same generous 6.9-inch screen size as its predecessor, the S25 Ultra. However, prepare for even narrower bezels, pushing the screen-to-body ratio further. For S Pen loyalists, good news: Samsung reportedly tested S Pen support without a digitizer but found unfavorable results, so the essential digitizer will remain for that seamless stylus experience.

Design-wise, the overall aesthetic will remain quite similar to the Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, you will find a subtle yet impactful change. Samsung is reportedly eliminating the controversial, protruding camera rings. Remember those “chip-like” pieces that seemed almost glued onto the back? Well, they’re gone. The handset will be as resistant to water and dust as it will keep an IP68 Rating.

New front camera; potentially improved 3x telephoto lens

Now, for the cameras, a crucial aspect of any Ultra phone. The Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature a 200 MP ISOCELL HP2 sensor with a new lens, a 50 MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 50 MP periscope sensor offering 5x optical zoom. The 3x telephoto sensor is also receiving attention, with Samsung reportedly testing a 12 MP unit, an upgrade from the S25 Ultra’s 10 MP. The list also includes an all-new laser AF sensor for improved focus speed and the next-gen ProVisual Engine for enhanced image processing. For selfie lovers, there’s a new front camera, although details are scarce for now.

Under the hood, the S26 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 chip across all markets. With the rumored cancellation of the 2nm variant from Samsung itself, it’s almost certain we’ll see the TSMC-made 3nm version, potentially with an exclusive “For Galaxy” overclock. To keep all that power in check, the phone will reportedly boast a vapor chamber (VC) cooling system up to 1.2 times bigger than the S25 Ultra’s. This could significantly reduce temperatures, leading to better sustained performance and potentially improved battery life.

16GB RAM for al models

Finally, expect premium memory options: all storage variants (256GB, 512GB, 1TB) will reportedly come with a hefty 16GB of RAM.

So, everything points to the fact that you won’t find a revolution in the Galaxy S26 Ultra. However, fans of the brand will find everything they love and a little more. Will these improvements be enough for the device to sell better than the X25 Ultra? Only time will tell.
