Just a couple of days ago, a leak revealed that Apple could release the iPhone 17 Air slim phone in four different shades. The source also shared renders of what the new iPhone 17 model could look like in the new colors. Now, a leaker on the Korean blog Naver has posted color options for both the vanilla iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air colorways, which line up with reports so far.
Apple could offer the iPhone 17 and Air in a total of nine colors
According to a tipster going by the account name “yeux1122” on Naver, accessory makers are now making camera protector rings for the iPhone 17 and Air in colors to match their finishes for the official launch. The source has also shared a couple of images showing the purported camera rings of the iPhone 17 and 17 Air models in all the upcoming colors.
As per the source, Apple could offer the vanilla iPhone 17 in five color options, including black, silver, blue, green, and purple, at the launch. This information is in line with an earlier report by the reliable tipster Majin Bu, who suggested that Apple will introduce two new color options for the base iPhone 17 variants: green and purple/lavender.
Coming to the iPhone 17 Air, the Cupertino tech giant’s newest iPhone model in years will be available in black, silver, gold, and blue options. This information corroborates earlier reports by well-known leakers, including Fixed Focus Digital and Majin Bu. As per the earlier leak, Apple will opt for a soft tone for the iPhone 17 Air colorways to strike a balance between playful and professional.
Rumored colorways for the iPhone Pro lineup this year
When it comes to the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models, the rumor mill hasn’t shared much information about their shades. However, according to the leaker Majin Bu, Apple will introduce the iPhone 17 Pro in a new Sky Blue color. It could be the same shade that Apple debuted on the latest M4 MacBook Air model released in March.
If we believe the leaks, this year’s Pro iPhone models will have an aluminum frame instead of titanium. The rear of these phones also will reportedly feature a new “part aluminum, part glass” design.
