The first One UI 7 beta might have 'too many bugs'

Samsung is working long and hard to make sure that One UI 7 hits the market before Android 16… While we got word that we’ll be getting the first beta at some point in the near future, you shouldn’t get too excited. Word on the street is that the first One UI 7 beta will come chock-full of bugs.

Beta release bugs are nothing new. Companies release the beta version of their software so that users can test it out before the stable release. This way, the company can work out the kinks before releasing it to the masses. Galaxy phone users have been waiting for Samsung to finally release the One UI 7 beta so they can try all of the changes that they’ve been hearing about over the past several months. Samsung could revamp the software in terms of form and function, and we’ve seen some of the changes.

Recently, we got the news that Samsung could release the first beta within the next couple of weeks. That’s good to hear, but we can’t tell at this point. One UI’s future seems rather foggy at this point. We don’t know if Samsung itself even knows when we’ll expect One UI.

The One UI 7 beta might be full of bugs

If this were any other year, most Galaxy users would have already gotten their hands on One UI 7. However, this time around, Samsung decided to delay the launch. Originally expected to come at least two months ago, the One UI 7 beta never dropped. It makes sense that Samsung delayed the launch, as the company had its hands full with bringing One UI 6.1.1 to its older devices.

Well, despite the delays, it seems that the beta will be full of bugs. Notable tipster Ice Universe shared a short post on X.com explaining that the One UI 7 beta will have “too many bugs.”  The post mentioned that there were even bugs in the animations. “One UI 7 Beta may not be launched smoothly, and there are too many bugs.”

It’s tough to believe that Samsung is struggling with this update. It’s been working on it for months, and there’s no telling when it will officially launch the update. Let’s just hope that the final product will be smooth.
