Get a 165Hz gaming monitor for under $200 during Black Friday

A decent gaming monitor doesn’t have to cost a lot of money, and the Black Friday discount on the Gigabyte G27F 2 is a great example of that. It comes with a 165Hz refresh rate and it can be yours for under $200. Specifically $149.99 which is the discounted price. Normally it costs $209.99 so you save $60.
This is a 27-inch monitor with a 1080p resolution and an IPS panel. It also has a 1ms response time, 1 Display Port 1.2 port, 2 HDMI 2.0 ports, and 2 USB 3.2 ports. Which means you can easily plug in a PC and two consoles, and still have the USB ports for anything else you might need to power up.
While it might not be a Samsung Odyssey Neo G9, it does let you get up and gaming for a very low cost. And the price is quite good for a display with a 165Hz refresh rate. If you do want something a little nicer, Gigabyte has two other monitors that are also on sale. Both of which come with higher costs but better features too.
- Gigabyte G27F 2 – $149.99 (reg. $209.99)
- Gigabyte M32U – $569 (reg. $799.99)
- Gigabyte M28U-AE Arm Edition – $449.99 (reg. $649.99)
First, there’s the Gigabyte M32U being discounted to $569 for Black Friday when the regular price is $799.99. Then there’s the Gigabyte M28U-AE Arm Edition for $449.99 instead of $649.99. Both of these monitors dump the refresh rate down from 165Hz to 144Hz. So it is a bit slower. However, both monitors also support HDMI 2.1, as well as DisplayPort 1.4, and they both come with 4K UHD displays.
No matter which gaming monitor you go for, they’ll all do a great job. You just have to decide whether you want a higher resolution monitor or not. Not to mention both of the more expensive models are a little more future proof thanks to the HDMI 2.1 support.
